I have a cell phone that I paid almost $200 for, I switched carriers and now I can't use my old phone with the new carrier cuz it's locked.

Yes, they have special programs that cost around $25 US money; you send your phone to places like http://www.cellphonerepair.org/ and within like 4 days you have your phone back unlocked. IDK if there are free ways, but this is the safest and best way. Goodluck!

try the last 4 numbers of you old phone number then if that don't work try the new number if that still don't work take it to your carrier and see if they can unlock it that is the only way i know how to unlock cell phones

Go the mall and check some kiosk's the ones that sell cell phone stuff some of them can unlock your phone if it's cingular or T-Mobile only phones that have sims can be unlocked NO OTHERS!

Unlock kits on eBay, for like 20 bucks, and they work on most phones.
