Example: White leggings with a long rainbow striped tank?

It's not inappropiate! As long as the tank is long about to the knees it's okay. I do it all the time and my mom is strict of what I wear.

well it depends on the setting and how long the shirt is. If you are going to the club it is definately ok! if you are just doing the whole everyday life thing then you might want to make sure that you have a long enough shirt, but i think it would be hella cute! I wore that out last week! Hope i was some type of help.

ummmmm...... i would say Inappropriate.... a more appropriate choice would b a long cowl neck royal blue or dark green sweater and a black 3 inch belt in the middle with black tights 2 match and some kitten heeled boots...
but i agree with elaeblue, only thin ppl should wear it caz usually it highlights the legs and the flat stomach... making us beautys look even more better and leaner then ever.... the only bad thing is that although the outfit is pretty cute, if u ever gain a pound, the sweater or tank would make u look really fat expescially with the leggings......

not exactly inappropriate..
but not exactly stylish?
i'm not a big fan of leggings. but if you are to wear them, it shoud should be with tunic length shirts, flowy (long, loose beneath the chest) shirts, denim skirts, or sometimes knit dresses.
i would just have to see it for myself.

If you are thin and look good in them they are fine but if there is a weight problem then they dont look so good.
