Takes money to run a church and send flowers to those in the hospital and nursing homes unfortunately takes money to do about anything. Churches help those in need and money from donations goes to these things and pays the bills of things the church needs like lectric taxes etc the list goes on. Yes you can worship God in private without a church to belong to but to worship with others you usually will need a place for large amounts of people. God Bless You

God doesn't need money. If you are asking why one should tithe I can tell ya but I honestly don't tithe in the traditional sense. The reason you are suppose to tithe is to be obedient to God and in return He will Bless you 7 fold for what you have tithed.
I think tithing is a personal thing between God and yourself.... for me I guess the best way you can say I tithe is that I give money to those when I see the need, or when God directs me. (please don't email me people asking for money...God is NOT directing your email I promise)
Tithing is also not just money its giving yourself to help others.

It is called "Tithe" and the money goes to maintaining the church, paying salaries and upkeep etc. Also, it is written in the Bible, that if you give you will receive back more from God. I don't know the exact chapter and verse, but I think it is the book of Deuteronomy.

It is not that God himself needs money, but those that do his work need the physical accoutrements to do so. Ie, temples, churches, welfare programs ,etc.
Money or fees should NOT go directly into the church minsters, bishops, etc. They should be laboring for God out of their won pockets or by the support of their own hands.

Money was created by humans. God is above human creations, so He doesn't need any money sweetie, he can get all the stuff he wants for free.
