He does not get that many vacations. While is at an alternate location other then the White House, he still wakes up and gets all of the daily briefs and puts several hours a day in. If you want to talk about those who take more time off, then you need to look at the House and Senate. They say they are with their constituents, when they are collecting campaign contributions. Those contributions don't help people like you and me.

I'm sure all the fine people here will think of plenty of reasons for this. But the way I look at is that Bush does not take enough vacation time. The more time he spends away from the White House the better.

Even when the president is at Camp David or his ranch in Texas, he is working with his advisors, getting daily updates on all kinds of security situations, and working on ways to get things done with an uncooperative congress. He can't take a real vacation because his job goes where he goes. When away from the White House he is still working but in a more relaxed atmosphere.

The same reason he goes to bed at 9:00 every night--he thinks the job of being president is a part-time job and is easy because he's not educated or intelligent enough to understand the depth and the nuance.
But we're glad he takes a lot of vacations, because it keeps him from doing as much harm to the country as he usually does. The latest is his capitulation to North Korea. Unbelievable and scary.

I know this may be hard to fathom for a crazychic, being President is a rather difficult and demanding job. Liberal hate doesn't make it any easier.

You guys hate him and call him a madman- but whine when he isn't at work. That reminds me of the prison riot over the rotten food- and they could not have seconds.
