i have a router and a either net cable with wireless internet how do i connect to xbox live with wireless internet in my house

I don't quite understand your setup, as an "either net cable with wireless internet" makes no sense. The ethernet cable itself can't have wireless internet.

However, if your router itself is a wireless device, you just need to buy the Wireless Adapter from Microsoft.
After plugging in the Adapter, just do the normal Xbox Live setup as explained in the manual or do the step by step directions the Xbox tells you after you choose to join Xbox Live.

The best product I have found is actually at Wal-Mart. It's a Belkin Wireless router it cost about 60 bucks at the store or 35 bucks online. It works better than anything else I have tried. Check out the website below.
As far as hooking it up it will come with instructions then all you need to do is plug it in the ethernet cable that came with the router and you should be good to go.
