Topic sentence for body paragraph (LOF)?

I need some help with writing the first sentence of the body paragraphs for my Lord of the Flies essay.

My thesis sentence is something like this:
Golding’s belief that the ruin of society came from within the individual is clearly shown in man’s tendency to let fear destroy rational thought, man’s innate desire to have power over others, and man’s attraction to violence. {got to fix that later, but it's going to be something like this}

I don't know how to start off the topic sentence. Any ideas?

I wrote everything, but i just need some ideas on the topic sentence of the body paragraph.

I think you are pretty close. You just have to watch out for the run-on. How about:

Golding believed that the ruin of society came from within the individual. This belief is evident in his story, "The Lord of the Flies". The story demonstrates man’s innate desire to have power over others, and man’s attraction to violence.
