its normal for you to be jealous. most people would be. just remember that she's dating YOU and not her ex. also let your girlfriend know that it bothers you.

I think you should bow out. She is disrespectful to the relationship you have with her. Her self esteem must be damaged so much to have a need to have "intercourse" with her ex.
http://www.religioustolerance.org/reciproc.htm (I'm not preaching religion. Just take a gander and it will make sense.)
Read those passages and try to see if you can live by them. If you can see the light with the words of the "Golden Rule" then I would like to have you print them out and hand it to her and tell her "Good riddance I deserve better."
In my own opinion when you have a new relationship that is going really well and you can see some what of a future... Change your number. E-mail too. No one in the relationship should have anything to do with their ex. Isn't that why you broke up in the first place? To get away? So with out further ado tell her to kiss your hum hum good bye.
I can't stand people who are disrespectful. I hope you find a good girl.
Kind Regards,
Jennifer

If he still wants to date her, and this is his reason for calling, then I would have a problem with that too. It certainly does sound like you are jealous, but jealousy is not necessarily a bad thing.
Maybe you should talk to your girlfriend and explain to her how her continued contact with her ex makes you feel. If she loves you then she will put a stop to it. Also, have you tried talking to the ex? Let him know where he stands, that you are with your girl now and that you won't give her up without a fight. I do not feel it is unreasonable that you want your relationship to be yours and not shared with a third party.

Sounds like she wants her cake and eat it, too. She is hesitant to get rid of this guy in case things do not work out with you. If she says that is not the case, then she is being mean to him, especially knowing he wants to date her. It is not unreasonable for you to ask her to not have contact with guys that are interested her as more than a friend. Try explaining that to her

Number 1, you are probably jealous. Number 2, under the circumstances you have a right to be and aren't being unreasonable.

The truth is..if she wanted this guy out of her life..he would be out of her life..she would have already written him off..he would not be in her life..trying to break the two of you up..so that he would be able to date her..she is with you..yet it seems..she cares more about not hurting her ex..then she seems to care about not hurting you..No I do not believe you are being unreasonable about it..she should end it with this guy..if she wants to be with you..

you are being unreasonable. It isnt so easy for females to erase people from their lives. And you said urself that she only speaks with him for 5 minutes. I don't think she has any feelings for him. You should learn to trust your g/f and her actions.

Sure, it's hard to deal with, but ...
If you give her a hard time, it'll drive her away.
If you accept it, given that she doesn't spend much time talking to him and hasn't given you any reason to doubt her, she'll be even more in love with your reasonable, cool self.
Which is a better scenario?

If he still wanted to go out with her than I would be worried but I think that maybe you should talk to her about it. I mean if she just wanted to be friends and he didn't want to go out with her than I would just leave it. But I think that maybe you should talk to her.
GOOD LUCK.
