The History Channel is a mainstream cable television channel, which presents programming related to historical events and persons, often with observations and explanations by noted historians as well as reenactors and interviews with witnesses.
While, Discovery Channel is a cable and satellite TV channel distributed by Discovery Communications that provides non-fiction programming focused on science, history and nature.
Therefore, Discovery is much better because it handles more eg . science, nature plus history.

History Channel hands down. I do enjoy some things on the Discovery Channel, but it seems to have more and more things that have nothing to do with gaining knowledge about a topic.
