I have signed every petition out there. I support the Chapmans with all my heart, I pray for them daily. Something that some of you have either forgotten or didn't know is that the F.B.I. worked with Dog & company, also they worked with a Mexican police officer before they went to get Luster. The Chapmans didn't do anything against the law, they were told they were free to leave Mexico. Only after the fact did the Mexican officer turn his back on Dog. Dog was given some bad information. Only after the U.S. and Mexican government did not come to an agreement on another case did the Mexican government go after the Chapmans. This has turned into one of the ugliest political messes we have seen in years. It all boils down to politics, plain and simple. Dog is being used as a pawn and it is just stupid. Ask yourself this, why did they wait so long to come after the Dog? It's not that Dog didn't show up for a hearing, he was told he didn't need to. God Bless them all, they are true Americans. Dog would never "run" from his responibilities.

Really not fair and what he has done for the good should out weigh this error in judgment. But this is not our call, and the Mexican government wants to make an example. I agree that if a Mexican person came across and in all rights "kidnapped" someone and took them across the border... We'd be demanding the same thing. They could care less about the good things he has done. I am glad he caught this dangerous person, but he should have researched the Mexican laws and asked permission from the Mexican authorities. He probably knew he was breaking their laws. Then after he got out of jail in Mexico after being arrested the first time, he fled back to the U.S. and never looked back. He should have listened to his own preaching, been a man and went back for his court date in Mexico. Maybe they would have been easier on him, but since he fled and it was a high profile case, they want to make an example out of him now. I don't agree with it, but for a man that preaches the law, he should be the first to abide by it!

Honey, nothing in life is fair and The Dog would surely tell you that. I pray that their family will be able to withstand the court and trial system, that is not always fair in any country, state or city.

Yes I think it is fair. If a Mexican were to come into our country and snatch somebody up and take them across the border, we would be outraged. Sometimes the ends dont justify the means. We cant flex our superiority over other countries and disregard their rules. Do I think it was and is a stupid rule? Yes a very stupid rule.
