I have tried many brands and used the layering method along with buying the Eau de Parfum to acheive the higher oil content, however, it still doesnt last on me. I know that some Fragrances have longer/stronger staying power. Can anyone recommend a brand?

the thing i do is i use the lotion and the body wash that comes with most perfumes..... or body sprays.... i apply the lotion right after i get out of the shower.....when my arms and legs are still damp.. and of course use the body wash in the shower.... i know most good perfumes come with the line of wash and lotion.. i know it costs a little more to buy all of the stuff but if you cut down on the amount of spray you have to use to maintain your scent it kinda evens out..... and the cotton ball thing is a really good idea.. and i also keep a travel size of the scent of the day in my purse.. or if i am in a place where i cant respritz myself i keep a travel lotion of scent of the day with me too... good luck!

If you are using deodorant soap this may be the cause of scents not lasting. Deodorant soap or anything you may spray all over that absorbs odor will neutralize your fragrance. Also, the idea that someone else has about placing a cotton ball with your fragrance on it is a great one. This really works. You can also spray your fragrance in your hair. This is the new suggestion being made by perfumers because hair holds onto scent really well.

Before you rush off to buy a new fragrance...try moistening a cotton ball with your perfume and then placing it inside your bra (yeah..right against your chest). The cotton ball will contain the fragrance throughout the day, and your body heat will activate the scent.
I wear a wonderful fragrance which unfortunately is very light so after an hour or two I can barely smell it. If I use the cotton ball trick, I can usally get the smell to last until I get off from work.
Layering lotions with perfumes is also a good idea...but try the cotton ball trick if that doesn't work.

i am a huge perfume girl. The fragrance that lasts longest on me is britney spears fantasy or fantasty midnight or if you spray paris hilton in the spring three times in a triangle on you body. That works for me! The best one for me, and all my friends, is the calgon brand.
The best calgon brand perfume is Marshmellow or angel food cake.

I read this in a magazine and it works:
spray like normal, then spray 1nce on each palm and clap a few times(to get rid of the alcohol so it won't dry out in your hair) and then rub your hands into your hair because it holds scent very well

when you spray it on dont rub it in just let it dry because when you rub it breaks up the smell and you just lose it. I mean their not perfect and they dont last incredibly long but the stronger ones do last longer like Chanel no5 or something really powerfull.

anyways keep a sample in your purse to reaply at lunch or whatever
but dont rub it!
