Personally I think this question has no place here and am surprised it has been given any consideration other than a statement like mine.

I dont think most Iranians are backstabbers however alot of people from that part of the world are not honest about themselves and others and are decietful. Having said that there are alot of people here in the USA who are like that too.

Actually most Iranians are under the age of 30 and love Western Culture and are fond of the US. If they survive, they would love it if their elders let go of power so they could realize their dreams. It looks like they still have a while to be patient.

Once a young man left his home town and came into a big city .
He asked a man what are the people like here ? Well he responded what were the people like back home? The young man replied they were nice polite rally great people.
The man said well the people here are the same.
A second young man comeing from the same small town asked the same question . The man asked again well what were the people like in your home town. Oh he replied they were liars and back stabbers. How about here .
The man replied "They are about the same as back home.
