A few year ago I ordered some diet pill off the internet. I know not very bright, in my order I included my address telephone and other information. I am still getting spam and pone call from at least a dozen other companies five years later. The company I made the order with has long gone out of business. I think Congress needs to do more to protect the public and the consumer. What do you think.

I agree with you 100%. It's getting a little out of control at this point.

When the Federal government set up the do not call list, they exempted themselves from its provisions! I think that says it all about politicians. That's why you still get political calls.

They also exempted organizations that carry out phone polls - which is why so many sales people now call you with 'a poll... I'm really not selling anything' - yeah, right.

And they exempted businesses with which you'd done business in the last year, even though you didn't give those businesses permission to call.

And you know why they gave all those exemptions? Payola.

use more filters on your email or block that address.....have you signed up on the no call list? if not do so, if you have then you can print out a report form and get information from that company that calls then report them
