why is that when you say something againts the Bush Regime, neo-cons attack you for being an "unpatriot"?

Why is that they say that when I am using my constitutional right of freedom of speech to speak against Bush, that I am automatically labeled a possible "terrorist" and my IP should be traced?

How dare they tell me this, when I am about to becoming an Air Force officer, when I fight my right to speak what I want, while they sit on the chair and defy me, the person who is willing to go fight for their right?

Why is that to the neo-cons the statement "I disagree with what you have to say but will fight to the death to protect your right to say it." is very invalid unless you agree with them?

HOW MUCH MORE OF NEO-CON HATE MUST WE TAKE.....stand up for your right to say NO!!!!!!

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!

I feel ya. I'm currently in the AF and I get that all of the time. I constantly get ridiculed for having an IQ over 40 and I think for myself. They're like little drones. If they actually got off of their butts and came to bases, they'd see that most troops don't support Bush because they know the truth. When Fox comes to our bases, they only show the soldiers who speak positively about the administration.

I was unaware of the Right to be called Patriotic. As far as your right to free speech, that doesn't extend to threatening the President. I don't know if that 's what you did, but I can't think of another reason your IP should be traced. The rest of this is difference of opinion, and at least you are in a country where you are permitted to have an opinion.

You lost me on the "Neo-Con Hate" comment, it's hard to take you too seriously when you seem to be the one doing the hating. It's okay to have a difference of opinion, and of course you have the right to say no. What you don't have is the right to strip me of my right to say no. Thank you

You advance an exciting question; a valid one that is going returned to how we interpret the U.S. shape and the thought of entitlement. Many might say the modification in question delivers us freedom from government intrusion on the undertaking. final I checked, the government has not limited my potential to particular any opinion. even however, interior the interest of civility, there are limits. i won't be able to scream "hearth!" in a packed action picture tutor, as an occasion. Political correctness, likewise, contraptions cultural mores that ward off civility from breaking down on subject concerns of sensitivity interior the artwork place. however one might experience as though one's freedom of speech is impeded, and it could, it falls below the theory we are all taught in intense college civics type: we each and every provide up some freedoms for the coolest of the completed as an inherent element of democracy. On Yahoo, one might o.k. say the computing device gremlins are dripping disgusting slimy liquid from their chins, having in basic terms emerged from their cocoons with lots interior the international of administration subject concerns. no person is so considerable that they are in a position to't be indignant, so there's a great line. the undertaking with company subculture is no person fairly knows of the place the line is or the place to entice it yet they do comprehend we want tort reform because of the fact good now, the 0.5-assed criminal equipment is drawing the line for us. With that mentioned, the place is the line besides? i won't be able to see it, are you able to?

it is all ignorance. When I took my college courses, I was in the military as well. Each of my professors would ask for three different sources of reference stating pro and con to the subject. This forced me to look at both sides of the story and make my own option.

College kids today only have to answer to one side of the topic, since the professors are so far left. On top of this the news media are so pro left that it should be a crime.

A good friend of mine once said " to be 18 and not a liberal means you don't have a hart. to be 40 and not be Conservative means you don't have a brain" There has to be equal information on these important subjects so that the people can make their own choice. When you listen to one side, you let someone else make up your mind.

You are correct. The neo-cons have violated a multitude of your constitutional rights. These include freedom of speech (so-called Patriot Act), right to due process of law (indefinite detention of so-called "enemy combatants" without access to an attorney, without habeas corpus and without presentation of charges or evidence) and right to be held safe from unreasonable search and seizure (illegal wiretapping and spying on US citizens without court supervision - also violation of 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act). All of these are criminal actions that are more than worthy of impeachment. And I do stand up for my rights. That's why I joined the ACLU. They are fighting for your rights even as I write this (Hamdi v Rumsfeld & ACLU v NSA). I strongly urge you to join if you haven't already. Go to www.aclu.org and sign up.

No one has violated any of your rights, as demonstrated by your right to post this asinine question.

Why not accord us "neo-cons" the same rights to free speech as you have? What a concept!

Which of your rights have been violated?

The 1st Amendment protects your rights from Congress and the federal government. It does not protect your rights from your fellow citizens, your employer, Yahoo, or anyone else.

How exactly have your "rights" been violated?
