Read the book, then watch the movie, then complain that I wasted good money on a crappy remake of a great book.

Books are always better so I usually read the book THEN watch the movie. Some movies are actually quite accurate, but I love using my own imagination rather than movie producers telling me what I should picture in that particular area of the book.

I say read the book first.. it is almost always better and will help you know things that movies tend to leave out. If you watch the movie first, it can ruin the book.
