What should I write for an independent project?

Each quarter I have to write an independent writing project. It is the 3rd quarter now. The peice can be about anything and in any form, but I would prefer not to do poetry because I'm working on another piece that's poetry. Please give me ideas I need them by tomorrow morning but tonight would be even better! Thanks!
