the check i got reads that i can not cash the check at a place called hscb but can i cash this check anywhere at any time and
what does hsbc stand for.can i cash this check in the usa

HSBC is a bank in Mexico, I don't know if you can cash it in the USA

That is VERY strange. I suggest you take it to your personal bank and have them investigate the check! It sounds to me as though you are being scammed.
