If human could live as young adult until 200 years old and then starting to age and died in the age of 300. What do you think? Is it good or bad? And do you like it? Bad Apples could do a lot of damage to the world if they could live up to 300 years old, but if intelligent scientists could live up to 300 years old then they would contribute a lot to our world. So, there is always a trade off in life ^_^

I would not want to live 300 years. I see enough as it is.Could you imagine what you would go through for that long? Besides, people need to die.We have to make room for those coming up after us.Plus food wouldn't be to plentiful aether...

I firmly believe the answer to that question is no. If humans lived for that long, tons of new problems would rise up. First off, limited space. If people lived for such a long time, everything would be crowded including land and schools since there's only a certain amount of space. Secondly, jobs. If people lived longer, they would have to work longer and the economy could be at risk because all the jobs would be occupied by older people and what would the younger people do? Thirdly, pollution. Pollution today is a major problem and and if you add more people, were would their extra trash go? Also, what about assisted suicide and in general, how would our values and morals change to accommodate the ability to live long?

Finally, what would be the point of extending human life for such a long time? To push science to a point? And also, would life really improve or would it only worsen?

Personally, I think 110 years should be the maximum because that's more than enough time to live life to the fullest and I really don't think people would do anything special with this extra time on Earth.

Not every human should, no. Perhaps some, a few. Time may lead to knowledge, and there is a THIN line between genius and insane. So to live to be 300 years old would not be for someone who is ignorant, superficial, weak, or not ready to face life's hardships.

You're absolutely right; there is always a trade-off in life. However, if humans had originally evolved to live up to such ages, we would not have developed such urgent desires to continue reproducing. The population would, in theory, survive much the same way it does today, without overpopulation. Interesting idea, nonetheless.

The law of averages would suggest that the longer one's potential lifespan is, the fewer who would actually reach that potential.

Nonetheless, I see what you mean. Imagine if Hitler was still alive and young and competent and charismatic as he was in his prime. In some ways, our relatively moderately long lifespans are a blessing to ourselves and the world. We still manage to do a lot of damage in a short life time.

I think that most people are tired and welcome death after even 100 years. It would add to the overcrowding on the planet, too. It would be nice if you could choose, or there was a possiblity, but mandatory 300-year sentences for everyone would be pretty crappy.

No, I wouldn't. I think life basically sucks, and the overpopulation would be a problem too.
