if you have been on your birth control a while it just cause a shift in your hormones i have been on the same birth control for 8 years now no changes and i have never taken my placebos on that last line i always just throw them away and order my refill so that shouldnt be the reason for the change although every womans body is different to get personal if you are looking to stop you period for a while (date night) take a hot bath do not douche though that is very bad can cause immediate infection but a bath will stop the bleeding for several hours sometime a full day but will not affect you cycle

i've had the same thing happen. I also had this happen with that Seasonal BC. I kept cramping but never got a period, just some spotting for a month. what's the point? I would call your GYNy and ask. I think it is from a hormonal buildup or something. Also, it depends on what BC pills you are on. Is it the same does every day (same color pill) or it is a different does each week (diff. color pills) - that will make a Big difference.
