Cannot access Hotmail or Yahoo mail with an airtel broadband connection.?

Question

I have a beetel adsl modem and a Dlink router. All other sites open up fine, except hotmail and Yahoo mail. I have the problem on both my laptops. If I directly connect the laptop to the modem through the beetel modem then I can access hotmail and yahoo. The airtel technician tells me it is a problem with my router, but my uncle has the same problem with his airtel connection too. Any help? It seems like a configuration problem to me, but I'm not a computer expert. Thanks!

Actually Airtel Broadband is better than other broadband.
Problem with your PC or Router.

If the problem with the router you cannot access any site. May be some IP blocked by your router. But it may not be disabled automatically. try with this link for router problem.

if problem with your browser
Check Your Browser Settings.
First clear your temporary files and Cookies.
Then check Java enabled or not in your Browser.
Please clarify is there any firewall activity is running or not.
In Internet Explorer if java is not installed correctly Hotmail will not work. You can acces the login page. but you cant log on.

Hey i also use airtel broadband connection but issues at all. It is clearly the issue with the router, check out for proxies... in internet options. Still, you should be able to access any website.... if its the issue with yuor router then you should not be able to access any website not just hotmail/yahoo. Unique issue !
