He used to call 30 times a day and now he hardly calls at all. He gave me a cell phone and i told him to take it back but he won't let me return it. I love him but I don't understand why now he can't stay in touch like he use to. Does he not love me anymore or has he met someone, or is this just a man thing. What do you think?

Sometimes a man is more in love with the chase than the catch. However, at the same time, relationships can exhausting for men. Sometimes, we feel like we've run out of things to talk about. It's the truth.

Take the initiative and call him up; don't expect him to do all the work. If he calls back, then you mean something to him. If he doesn't, then he better have a DAMN good excuse...

Remember: relationships are a team effort and what you put in it needs to be mutual. If feel you're putting more into this than you feel you're getting back, let him know. If he loves you, he'll act.

It's very possible that it's just a man thing. Some men after a while shed the "new" from a relationship. I think it happens to everyone. When you first start going out you want to talk to the person all the time and never want to get off the phone. After a while it just comes to the point to where it's cool to just talk once a day or so. I know that it was like that in my relationship. Me and my girlfriend would talk on the phone non-stop. Well, not so much anymore, but it's cool with the both of us. It's kinda like being in a comfort zone...

After the initial "getting to know you" stage, guys just don't get into being on the phone. It may not mean that he is not intereste, just likes "real life" more.
