I stopped calling the love of my life 5 years ago. We were together 12 years but it seemed there was always problems. My heart still ached for him and no one has taken his place. I have gone on with my life but I still think and dream about him constantly. I'm not a kid, 59 my last birthday. Love doesn't matter what age you are, breaking up still hurts as much. I hope this answers your question.

Last time I found out the girl I admired for the longest time had a boyfriend. I just can't find the courage to ask before she's taken, now I'm back to it again. This time, I don't even know if she likes me, and I suspect she already has a boyfriend. I don't know, I never see her with one, so maybe she's free. She talks to me sometimes and looks at me an excessive amount. I don't know, but, like I said, I don't have the courage to ask. I'd be too crushed if I were told "No", whether she doesn't like me or if she already has a boyfriend. Plus, my cousin tells me love sucks, you tell her the truth and they just **** in your face or something like that. I don't agree, but maybe that's one reason why all my friends don't have girlfriends.

When my 5 year old neice (who I hadn't been able to see for 6 months) called me to ask me to wait for her to be there before I had my wedding reception. It was just so sweet that she wanted so badly to be there. And of course I promised.
