I hated being kept at the gate an added hour by Delta (for repairs that should have been started much earlier) I would get cabin fever if I was ever held on the tarmac for more than a half-hour or so...

I haven't. I would try to remain calm. I am pretty sure, that the pilot and attendants wanted off as bad as anyone. I mean at least they were on the ground, I would rather sit there, than be circling the airport.

Yes, and if they imprisoned me I think I would fake a bomb threat to get off...it might work.....
