There is no doubt about it. The Yankees will win the AL East and the Phillies will win the NL East. Both teams will meet in the world series. The Yankees will win a classic 7 games world series. It will be considered the greatest world series in history. You heard it here first!!!!!!

I don't think either of your teams has the pitching to make it, maybe the Yanks but not the Mets. The Mets pitching was more settled last year and Philly and Atlanta are better-Phils are really better, a slow start last year killed them. They ended up with a better record than the World Series champs. Hamels, Myers, Garcia are all better than any of the Mets starters. Eaton could be good. Lieber would be the#2 on the NYMets.
I say the Red Sox (better pitching) although it could be the Yanks or maybe even the Jays. In the NL, I think Philly runs away like the Mets last year, followed by Atlanta and Florida.......then the Mets ahead of Washington.

There are three kinds of teams..
1. It would be nice if they'd win
2. Maybe they could win
3. What are you talking about? Of course, they're going to win.
The Yankees are a 3. The Mets, not quite, but
close.
The Phillies are a 2,
The Braves, their glory days are gone.
Red Sox, a 2 +.
Go, Senators!
PS. The Phillies are about to start their 43rd, Three Year rebuilding plan.

NL East is going to be very tight this year. Mets still have the same stellar lineup and rotation. The Phillies have great bats and have made great improvements to the rotation (For success Ryan Howard has to stay in Philadelphia). For the AL East...Redsoxs, pitching improvements and media attention from Dice X should help boost the hype...watch the Blue Jays...will not win it but they will surprise you with a run at sometime in the season, Glaus, Overbay Vernon Wells, Frank Thomas for bats and Roy Holliday, AJ Burnett and BJ Ryan closing...thats a pretty good team

Im sorry for the Yanks, but this year Boston has more pitching and more power! That japanese guy seems good, well that slim era he had on the world baseball classic says it all. JD Drew brings more batting power. And wow baby those three dominicans Big papi, Manny and new boy Julio Lugo. And not to scare you or anything Papelbon, Schilling, Beckett are also on the pitching staff! Good bullpen also. Advantage: BOSTON BABY!
NL east is Mets only! Beltran, Delgado one two punch is killer. And Pedro is Pedro. Maybe a rematch of the 86 series in 07 is kind of sweet to see!

Red Sox and Phillies
They each have the strongest starters in their respective division. Both have good lineups and play well in the field. Barajas will make a big difference behind the plate for Philly.
Sorry NY. I see 2 wildcard berths. You both could certainly win the whole thing regardless.
Can't wait for baseball!

I agree with you. The Yanks will take the AL east followed by Toronto then Boston
The NL East could be a log jam but the Muts should prevail...

i agree with you...the yankees will have the pitching to win the division in the end, mostly because their bullpen should be much better than boston's, and their hitting will obviously be better than just about anyone else's, not just boston's...the mets are a tougher pick because they play in a tougher division, but i think they will outlast the marlins, braves, and phillies...they aren't any worse than last year, but they have little pitching depth and not much of a bullpen and that will hurt them in the playoffs
