If you made a restore cd.. w/c btw you should always make when you just bought your computer.. (sometimes it comes with your computer).. just put the cd in the dvd drive restart and boot from cd, it does a clean install on your computer having all the files it had way back when you just bought it (no more viruses and corrupt files)..

Either send it in for warranty service, or just admit it and break her open.
