I am setting up a business, and one of the main parts will be a website. The site is fairly simple, static, non-transactional.
How much does hosting cost per year? I dont need anything special, but something very reliable with good customer service.

I have found that using Webstarts is the easiest way to complete you very own free website. There is a uniqe drag and drop tool that is extremely easy to use. Plus with a free membership you can get up to 5 free websites.

Yahoo hosting is fairly affordable as are most webhosts these days. If you want someone local just do a search for
yourcity name webhosting.

Most small business sites should be less than $20 / month many good hosting companies provide 4-5 dollar starter sites (you kind of get what you pay for with them) SPACE only. If you need help to develop and manage your site then the amount will be higher.

Depends on how much space you need. if it's just what you said.
$1/M that's $12/Year, maybe you can get what you want.

I hosted my website on clustered failover server at 111hosting.com, it's very reliable and they have good support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, I was told they have some guys working different areas like America, UK, Asia, that's why they can provide this service.
