Most people learn to dribble with their weak hand (in your case the right) because their strong hand (your left) is the hand you shoot with, or the hand your push the ball more when you shoot. It's an easier or more natural motion especially when you first learn to shoot and dribble.

It's funny how that kind of stuff goes. My brother is left handed. He writes, eats and plays golf left handed. He plays tennis, racket ball and bowls right handed. I can write with either hand, and our other brother is right handed and can't do anything at all with the other hand, but is immensely talented as an artist. Go figure!

well, well, well... your brains are messed up dude. I can dribble with my left hand if I want to, that goes with my right hand too, and so with shooting the ball both i can do either hand if i want to.

Some people are "cross-handed" when it comes to certain sports. I know guys who throw right and bat left in baseball. Is this the only sport where you are cross-handed?
