I believe there is a brigade for both the left and the right. I've tried to keep some peace by taking what I think this the "middle ground", and I've had the most thumbs down of anybody, because I can simultaneously inflame BOTH sides at the same time, without use of any inflammatory language. For example: I will state "I agree Bush was wrong about (fill in your issue), but its the American people that have allowed it." Nails me every time.

Yes, and there's also a left-wing thumbs brigade. I've been given thumbs down on many of my answers, even when I post nonpartisan links to support my position. The fact of the matter is, there are two groups of VERY opinionated people on here, and NONE of us like to have someone disagree with us, whether they state facts or not. This is a fact.

I see many right & left answers getting thumbs up. Actually, on topics dealing w/ Bush & the Iraq War there seems to be a lot more thumbs ups for left answers... but I think that's because many moderates (& even some right-wingers) are tired of Bush & the war.

I take offense at the question. I have many thumbs down for answers that are only a statement of existing law. So there is nothing to support your theory. Talk about outright delusional lies.
