Hi;
About the only object I know of is a kumquat. It is a small citris type fruit about the size of a grape tomato. The whole fruit including the peel is consumed, because the thin peel has the sweetness in it, while the flesh inside is acrid and a little bitter.
Another type of object could be a person who is physically beautiful, but for any number of reasons, could have a harsh personality.
