Sorry i thought she was 4 i read it a while ago and just couldn't believe what i was reading or seeing. Snopes.com is usually pretty accurate and they usually have research and the links or whatever to back it up. It's very possible you can get pregnant at that age as long as you are ovulating and she was i think they said she started her period at 1 1/2 or could have been sooner.

Snopes.com is usually very reliable. She was 6 years (not 4) And yes, in theory, it is possible. Girls can become fertile if they have been molested for a number of years. The sexual activity causes the body to speed up it's sexual maturity. It is an absolutly terrible, disgusting, and unfortunate event. And to think that no one was ever charged or arrested!

No sorry girl friend that is not possible
she has eggs but there not fertile and you have to start your period frist before you can get pregnant and that will kill that 4 year old girl.

She was 5 1/2 and gave birth when she was 6 1/2. I find it to be very sick and disturbing.

Must be a leap year baby and only celebrates on Feb. 29 because I don't believe it is possible

It is true, as odd as it sounds. She started ovulation at birth and is the youngest mother in the world. This is a rare occurance but there are other cases.

4 year old? are you sure? the latest i hear is from Singapore, a 9 year old girl got pregnant from a 9 year old boy.

it is possible... but v v v rare... i had a child psychology professor that had a patient that had her period at 5... and she is a reputable source... though it is incredibly sad that a child would go through something like that.
