my boyfriend does have three legs but i still call them a pair of pants...but i have to say that i don't say a pair of socks but a trio of socks

no because trio means three tings and u dont need three pairs of pants.

I've always thought about that and prabably that would be true. If we had eight legs pants would be an octuple of pants. lol.
