Of course you can!!!, the only two problems you might ran into are the following: 1.- It might be broken at the end of the cicle.
2.- It might not work due the fact that the majority of them weren`t design to be waterproof.
One thing is for sure, at the end either the pieces left or the cellphone will be clean, sparkling clean! (use lots of detergent by the way)

Sure. any small appliances can be placed in there for washing. A maatter of fact small animals will come out lemony fresh if you put them in the dishwasher.
