Without a doubt Andy Van Syke. Bonds was never that good of any outfielder. He never had much of an arm plus he never had very much range. How people can call him the best ever is beyond me. Fact is Bonds is a cheater and a liar and should be in jail.

People tend to forget that when Bonds came up with the Pirates he was a CF. However as soon as Van Slyke got there the Pirates moved Bonds to LF. I think that says it all.

Van Slyke. He won five Gold Gloves.

Barry Bonds couldn't throw out Sid Bream in Game 7 of the 1992 NLCS. I can run faster than Sid Bream, and you probably can too.

my goodness, have you ever watched bonds play defense? he is horrible! i am not really sure who andy van slyke is as I mostly watch american league games, but bonds career field percent is .982 and van slyke is .987 (.988 if you only count his outfield appearances). So slightly better numbers wise for van slyke.
