Whatever you don't pack, you will be sorry you didn't bring it along! Most people I know bring along just about everything they ever use. And don't forget your scrapbook!

If you've never scrapbooked before and need a list of tools, etc., that's a different matter. That's a much longer answer!

But a whole day (or weekend--I'm going in a couple of weeks, yay!) of scrapbooking with your friends is a lot of fun. Have a blast!

Someone once told me to make a plan for the day before you go. That's what I do now. Rather than bringing every picture I've ever taken, I bring enough pictures to do 10-15 pages. I sort the photos ahead of time and put them in plastic baggies and write on the outside with a sharpie pen the subject matter and date. That helps cut down on the amount of pictures I bring. That way you can cut down on the amount of embellishments you bring. As for everything else here's what I do:
I bring my paper trimmer, scissors, eyelet setters, 1/8 & 1/16 hole punch (for ribbons and brads), adhesive, and Creative Memories cutting system.

Then I put all my papers in my rollng tote (which I've sorted the paper by color). In a basket I have all the above tools, plus ribbons, brads, fibers, and eyelets. I have one bag of stickers/embellishments I bring.

I don't usually bring my albums, because they are top loaders and I just add them to the album when I get home.

So in all, I bring one basket of tools/embellishments, my rolling tote of papers, and my photobox with sorted photos. That way I can get it all in one trip.

We have an all day crop at our church coming up and I know I get this question ALL the time! We have an on-site store at our crop, so that helps if you forget anything. Besides, haven't you found scrapbookers are such generous people? Always offering paper or just the right brad for a page?

From one scrapper to another, Have a great time!

Just pack what you would normally use when you do crop. Definetly bring a camera along so you can take pics of the event. if you have a scrap tote then you're straight, because finding a bag to hold your items is gonna be a hassle if you don't organize. I was teaching this lady how to crop and she had all her stuff in grocery bags!! If you don't have one, get a storage container to hold your scrapbook paper without bending them( they sell them at michaels). Get your photos, glue stick, mounting squares, paper trimmer, paper, embellishments, and your imagination...... But if you're more advanced there's a laundry of things...

basics.... scissors, rulers adhesives....some paper and photos.
Don't plan on doing anything really intense...
two ideas:
1) take stuff that you want to do ahead - like to make embellishments or cut outs or headers, trims, matts etc.
2) pack a half dozen page packages with everything you will need to put the pages together and the tools you will need to do it. That way you have lots to do and still have time to chat and exchange ideas.

I never count on getting much done at a crop. I like to look at other's ideas and fiddle with embellishments and plan pages that I want to do when I have time.

I made page kits years and years ago when I would go to a friend house to crop. I can dragging bags and bags of stuff and then only using a few things. But I got away from it when I moved and no longer cropped away from home.

Usually less is more. When I go to alll day crops, I always ask the hostess what tool they will have avalible for my use.
I bring one album to work one, my powersort box of pictures, adhesive, pens for journaling, stickers and paper.
What I have started to bring now is my Creative Memories Power Palletts, this way everying is set for me to complete my album.

pictures!!!! usually other people have their tools...so I would just use theirs that are available. it will give your album a different look from your pages that you have used your stuff for. I usually take pictures, stickers, paper, pens, scissors, cropping tools, adhesives and my album.
