No, wearing makeup will not make you ugly when you are older. Most makeup will not cause breakouts, either; just make sure it is noncomedogenic (won't clog pores) and hypoallergenic. Washing your face and applying a moisturizer at night, and wearing sunblock on your face everyday will help keep your skin looking its best.

Who cares...?" "This girl" probably wears makeup already for the same reason 95% of women do....because they are either already ugly or at best less than attractive. Also how many women think that wearing all types of makeup because they think it hides the fact that they are fat...as if people won't notice they're 30, 40, 50....or 75 pounds over weight....actually that they are obese? Really..do these women actually think that wearing lip stick and eye shadow makes them look thin?
And before you jump on my butt remember 2 things. First that yes there are are ugly fat men but 99.5% do not wear make up for "cosmetic" reasons. Second...that
according to the AMA, NEJM and The Lancet 76% of Americans (USA) between the a ages of 25 and 65
are either over weight, obese or morbidly obese. Broken down by gender that translates to 81% of the men and 53% of the women.

What happens is that the person gets used to a certain 'look' early in life. And they're less likely to adapt their make-up to their changing features. I've seen too many women who look like their make-up options got locked in their teens and now in their fifties they look awful.
Same thing goes for grannies wearing low-riders. At a certain age it should just be stopped.
From a guy's perspective, make-up gets overdone too much. Go without whenever you can. When you do put it on, it should look like you're wearing nothing 90% of the time. And only go for the glamor on big nights out. It's more of a statement that way.
Will it damage your skin in the long run? The cosmetic companies are keeping quiet, but it doesn't hurt to stay natural whenever you can. Skin was meant to breath.

Yes. If you wear makeup when you're young, it destroys your skin and you will get wrinkles and older looking skin faster as you grow up. Anyways, natural beauty is always the best
(but if you want to use makeup, just a litttle tiny bit now and then, like SOME eyeliner, is OK. Just not too often)

It's not that you'll be uglier. You just might look more aged. And plus if you know how to take care of your skin, and not wear pounds of make-up, you'll be all good. Plus you wouldn't want to wear so much anyways, it just looks ridiculous. But wear make-up that accentuates your natural beauty.

IIt can dry up your skin. Ive heard that before too, but I dont know if it really does make you uglier, or whether its just a myth. I use conditioners before I wear makeup.
Whats good is to do the lightest amount needed, and not go overboard. you know?

I don't think so, but just go light on it OK? Natural beauty is a lost thing. Many women really need makeup though. Others just ruin that natural beauty by painting it!

no, however if not applied correctly you'll look like a totally wreck make-up is designed to enhance beauty so if you wear it heavy and wrong you will look totally different once you stop wearing it which is why those who wore it for years don't leave the house without it.

it will change your skin, but as long as you remove it at night and use a good moisturizer you will be okay. It can cause premature wrinkles and acne, not that it is necessarily "ugly". Just take good care of your skin and the makeup won't bother you.
