Bowl Contracts need to expire and the College system needs to quit being so money hungry for them.

first of all, i suppose you're implying that michigan should have been the #2 team, which you are wrong about, michigan had their shot at the buckeyes and couldn't beat them, so they don't deserve another one...playoffs will never happen because the athletic directors at big-time football programs refuse to jeopardize their chances for the many millions of dollars they make from going to BCS bowls for the better of the game and the clear-cut national champion all people want to see...i love the college game, but one of the things that sickens me the most is how big a role money plays in all things associated with the game, even when the players aren't (formally) paid!

well florida proved they were the top team whipping ohio state also they won the sec michigan never won there confrence so why should there have been a controversy to begin with after florida handled ohio state the way they did it proved that conference was weak to begin with,besides michigan couldnt beat ohio state for anyone to think they could beat florida is a joke

i hate to tell you this but it will never happen. Unfortunately, one of the things most people like is that you can argue about who should be the champion. unlike in other sports, a lot of people, for whatever reason, don't want a clear cut champion
