In middle school they had us take a test to see if we were a better visual or audio person. Even before the test, i knew i was more visual because everything i did was in color and creative. When i learn something, my notes are colorful because i hafe photographic memory which helps me on tests. the colors tend to stand out in my mind. When i have to take notes from a lecture, anyone can see that i struggle because i do not like writing fast because not only am i a perfectionist in my colors and notes but in my handwriting too. I think people who are better audio learners will do good in college and upper high school grades where teachers mainly give lectures. As a high school student, i have been forcing myself to practice my audio skills.
As a science experiment, i would try testing how visual people react to audio tests and how audio people react to visual tests. I think you would get interesting results. Hope this helps!

I memorize better vision because when it's on a test I remember the exact words on the paper. So, I do lots of memorizing for the test. Audio helps people a lot not me though whenever it does it's because that lines in my head what the teacher said.
For your science fair you should do what your interested in Earth, anatomy, physics, etc. Then research topics from books or the Internet.

I personally can memorize better visually. I can memorize it better visually because it is easier for me to capture the image in my head. Also, colors help me memorize better. Maybe if u are doing this topic, you can experiment on if more people can memorize better visually or audibly. Your hypothesis can say (this is your opinion) I think more people can memorize better visually. You can experiment by cuting out random things from a magazine, pasting it on paper and then gettting a lot of your friends to look at the paper for like a minute. Then test them by asking them how many things they could remember. Do the same thing except say the words instead.

vision, because my hearing is very bad and I have terrible listening skills. I try very hard, but I'm always missing a few bits and some important notes...

Vision can be corrected easily with glasses or contacts. So visual demonstrations are quite better than audio. Our brain holds a severe amount of visuals. We see images in our sleep (we mostly forget those dreams) and whatever we see is usually processed way better than audio hearing. Some people aren't always the best at hearing answers or for key terms. Many are easily to learn better by visuals, so then that picture will be a clue/key to an answer that may fit best. Hence, as why we have visuals in our textbooks to give ourselves a better visual of the importance in the context. Audio is only once (unless you replay or ask again), as visual can be repeatedly imagined over and over. Visuals can also apply to text, words, key terms, important notes, and lastly but not least, pictures.

I'll say one more thing, children are highly capable of learning from visual teachings. If you show a flashcard with a picture of an umbrella, with the text "Umbrella" under it, it will definitely store into the mind of that child, not only learning the word, but the visual of it. So whenever that child would see that similar imagine, s/he will be reminded of the umbrella.

It goes the same for psychologists when they are trying to study the human mind by flashing ink blots to the client to get a better understanding of their current thoughts and feelings. Movies, art, posters, advertisement, TV commercials, all visuals. You can see why we love certain types of colours and styles.

It's something that allows us to get a closer feeling and communicate to that visual so you may feel more attached or informed of.

Visuals applies to any age, regardless if you're a baby, because they will be mostly staring at their mother's face to recognize their mother for life. Or the baby duck who will see anything in its first sight as its potential mother.

I memorized things by seeing them. Thats me because when you see something you are taking that info and putting it in back of your brain.
