Why have 3 generations of Bushes been in a secret on the campus of Yale called Skull and Bones? Why when the media asks questions about it, the subject gets brushed under the rug?Why did Bush used to be a very eloquent speaker and excellent debater as governor of Texas but now stutters like a nervous child in nearly EVERY major address to the nation? Why have the worst disasters to America happened with his administration in office? Why do you justify an Iraq war with a defense like "if we don't fight them over there, we'll fight them over here" when enemies could attack at any time regardless of who is killing who over there? Why do you dumb yourself down and go against everything you know is decent because you feel the alternative makes you a sissy? I am not a liberal or conservative. I don't vote because I don't buy the illusion of the people having the control in this country because we don't. I just wonder if the Bush herd can answer some of these questions.

As far as I know there aren't any laws baning the joining of the group Skull and Bones, do you know of any? I can't see any difference in the way he speaks but if so then maybe it could be stress, after all he does have a very stressful job, wouldn't you agree? Which " disasters" are you referring too? If you mean 9/11, it was being planned for years before Bush took office. It's mastermind was bin laden, the same person who attacked the U.S.S. Cole, which was done while Clinton was president. Clinton did nothing, if he had then 9/11/2001 would have been just another ordinary day, wouldn't you agree. I don't recall anyone justifying the war the way you describe. The reason for the war is because Saddam repeatedly broke U.N. rules and regulations. He is also responsible for the death and torture of thousands and thousands of innocent people. Would you say it would be "decent" to ignore that? If you don't like this country then why don't you leave? I just wonder if you can answer some of these questions

No one even answered your questions! Just more insults on top of insults. I'm sorry your experience here on Y!A was like this. Unfortunately, you'll soon see, that the Conservatives on here never give a good, concise answer when confronted with real questions.

1. I never heard of Prescott Bush being part of the society. But, I do know that Bush Sr. and Jr. were members. Unless, of course, you're refering to John Kerry as he is a distant cousin of GWB.

2. The Bush administration was caught paying media like fox and cnn over $1.8 Billion.

3. I'm sorry, but I don't know the answer to this question.

4. Horrible organization. President Bill Clinton said that he even knew of the attacks prior. They were discovered at the end of his term. Bush spent his first 8 months on vacation in Texas, and ignored the reports. He makes decisions with good intent, but he never thinks things through. They always end up a disaster. If anyone can argue that, give me an example and I'll show you the mistakes.

5.Because the American people, in general, don't really care. They're more worried about American Idol, or their bills than a reason for a war. Most just believe what they hear.

6.Conservs dumb theirselves down because they feel that if they are not behind their Commander-in-Chief, they aren't real Americans. This just isn't true. A real American keeps their President on his toes. We employed him, not the other way around.

I believe you are completely correct. The control of America is no longer in our hands. If people actually think that all of their votes are counted, they are horribly mistaken. There was around a million votes that weren't counted when Bush ran for his first term. If those would have been counted, he would've lost. These administrations will look for loopholes just to win, whether it's the popular vote, or not.

1. skull and bones, most of our Presidents and Leaders have been part of this organization, look into it, you'd be surprised. they are part of the Master Masons

2.Because it's a "Secret" club.

3. He spoke to a much smaller group of people, not the entire world. He wasn't judged near as much as he is now.

4.Because you can't control "Nature" therefore Natural disasters are going to happen. They happened under other Presidents as well, but the Media and the Far Left didn't point fingers at them like they do President Bush. (Dumb Question)

5.Because it is the truth and has shown to be true so far.. We haven't been attacked again, have we? And the war in Iraq isn't just to fight Terrorist, we Brought them out from underneath a evil dictators Leadership. We are helping them Build a Democracy

6. I do not "Dumb" myself down, I have my opinions and use my common sense to help me differ between right and wrong, Most Conservatives don't rely on the 5 o'clock local news for our information, we like to listen and read different things to form our opinions.

Hope that answers some of your questions, and as for you not being a Liberal or Conservative.. I think you are just scared to admitt what you really are.. LIBERAL, be comfortable with yourself and back what you are no matter who disagrees with you.. I'm a Bush supporter and Conservative. My family are all hard core democrats who despise Bush, but I don't let that faulter who I am.

As for the Skull and Crossbones Club at Yale, many President's belonged to this club, not just the Bush's. The men in this club are groomed to be President (if not of the US, then of large corporations haha).

Apparently all you (and all 'liberals') can see is that "war bad" "no war good". The world is not as simple as that. If we didn't go to war with Nazi Germany, Japan and the like, the world would be a MUCH WORSE PLACE don't you agree? Sometimes war is a necessary evil. No one in their right mind wants war, but sometimes it is inevitable. Sadaam's murderous regime was given plenty of time to clean up its act, but chose not to. Why? Many reasons - they have a complete disregard for human life including their own people; they hate the West because we have freedom, democracy, liberty, and everything else that their Sharia law opposes; they hate Jews (yes, the Koran is very clear about that) and think the US is run by Jews; Sadaam and his family were clinically insane; etc.
My point being, sitting down to tea and bickies with Sadaam and co was never going to result in a mutually-acceptable solution. No, Sadaam would more than likely slice your throat and feed you to his brother's tigers.

That is the realty, why can't you see that? It's very well documented a thousand times over, you have so many people fleeing his regime for decades TELLING you what it was like under him, you have the bodies of thousands and thousands of Kurds and Iraqis, you have the prisons where hundreds of thousands of Iraqis were tortued and/or killed, you have proof of his chemical and biological weapons (some would say WORSE than WMD!) which he took pleasure in testing on innocent civilians and Kurds, and so much more evidence against this regime.

So this is my question to YOU --> Why do YOU dumb yourself down and go against everything you know is decent? The immoral thing to do would have been to sit there and do nothing. MANY MORE PEOPLE WOULD HAVE DIED.

As for all the Iraqis who have died, the vast majority of those were murdered by other Iraqis. They now have electricity, phone, water supplies where there was never any. They have schools now (for girls, even!). The have infrastructure that they never had under the regime. And that's all a bad thing is it? You'd prefer the Iraqi people to live under a murderous dictatorship, and for that dictatorship to threaten and follow through with their threats against their neighbours and the West? Well, aren't you a lovely person?

End rant.

If you do a more in depth study, you will find that many politicians from both parties have been members of the Skull and Cross Bones society. As far as his speech, I'm sure that the stress from the war and the fact that his ratings are lower can have an influence. I also noticed that you limit the disasters in America to his era. If you recall, America has had several wars with many more casualties than this one. But then again, a more in depth study would have shown you that as well. And if you don't vote,,,then don't complain.

Everyone has a past from college or early years. You can't judge someone by that. As for Iraq, it may have been a mistake to do how we did it. Get over it. We did it, and it is a mistake, at least Bush has the guts to stand by it and support our troops and the citizens we have left without a stable government instead of running scared, because we messed up. Our country has a serious problem, and it is our lack of responsibility. Everything in our country comes down to the easy way out. I just saw a question asking if they had nough debt to file bankruptcy. That should be a last resort. Abortion and other issues which I am not wishing to debate at this time, come down to responsibility. And yes, they guys should stick around too. Those who don't are garbage in my book. We are so willing to act, but so unwilling to take responsibility. I honor Bush for facing the consequnces of a bad decision, instead of bailing.

As for bad things happening. I guess you are talking about Sept. 11. Do you remember Dec 7, of 1941. A whole fleet of airplanes snuck in on our country and bombed our military. Things happen that we cannot stop. Why blame the president? Why not blame those who are dogmatic in their beliefs. I will listen to someone if they have a reason, but those who say this is bad, because this happened without stopping to realize they happened- those people really bug me when i try to talk them.

I am not of the Bush herd but I believe they vote for him because the Religous right thinks that Dems are all ok with abortion and no religion in shcool etc.
For these few narrow column guidelines they think he is on their side and vote for him while he goes in the next room and calls them all religious nuts.
The man and his administration makes Nixon and his look like angels.
Just thinking of the man who STOLE the last two elections makes me throw up in my mouth.
He will go down in history as a disgrace.
