You will probably have to start out at a Community College. Once there talk to your student adviser and see what if anything you can do to get into a University I mean if you want to go further than CC.

Why don't you consider home schooling for your last years. It is better than a GED and you probably won't be able to get your GED until your eighteen. What would you do for the two years? You also would probably have to start out at a Community or Junior College. Is high school really that bad that you would want to first of all spend extra time going to College just because you hate high school and second would you want to spend all that extra money having to go to a Community or Junior College 1st?

Before you drop out check out your state laws. In our state you can't get your GED until you're 18, so that's three years of doing nothing.

Consider some alternatives to traditional high school. There are different options like online classes and adult ed/night school (again, check the age limit - in our area you have to be 16 to take adult ed classes).

High school can suck, but you need either a diploma or GED to get into college, so hang in there and good luck.

There are some colleges who accept GED's in lieu of high school diplomas but there are more of them who do not. I would suggest that you have a talk with your guidance counselors at school and see if you can find more challenging classes - maybe even a change of schools might help.
