I’m a Chinese guy in China. I don’t know much about the US, but I have been here in Yahoo Answers for 3 wks, b/c I believe Americans are very nice, humorous, and knowledgeable, and I want to know more about your culture, politics, and etc. but somehow I feel scared right now when I was shocked by the following page
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ap4cjr9remlp7DGAEnBaOwTsy6IX?qid=20070228155536AAY2OE5&show=7#profile-info-AA10210328
(please click). After reading that page, would you please tell me should I stay here, or should I switch to “Yahoo Answers China” (It’s a similar service operated by Yahoo in China) I may sound like an idiot, but I am really curious, if most or a large percentage of Americans don’t like Chinese, why should I stay here ? Perhaps in the past 3 wks people didn’t like my questions or answers at all, but I didn’t know that and I was so enthusiastic in participating. How is the race situation in America ? Probably I have been blindly thinking I am welcomed here ? I don’t know. Serious answers only please.

I am all for Chinese culture,my exgirl friend Judy Mcclean worked at this chines restraunt here in town called The Mandarin House.

Any who they were the kindest people I ever met.
One night after I got off work,I went to visit myg/f , anyway they were kinda busy , so I helped the waitreses.
Mr Lee the owner actually paid me out of his own pocket and let me and my girl friend sit and eat supper.
It was the bestDAMN meal I ever ate, something called Happy family, it had everything (all my favorites) and some new things that were delicious.

Cats or dogs I dont think so.

his wife Mui ( pronounced moo-wee) is one the best cooks Ive ever known.

I beleieve that cat and dog crap is for the most part a stupid stereotype, Howevere in some parts of the world people do eat dogs,, like we eat cows or pigs.

Im not sure about cats

Don't be afraid, Man is man-made.
Are you in Beijing? If you have your degree already, you should emigrate to the US. There are many companies in large cities like San Francisco or NYC(S.I.A.C. in the NY Stock Exchange building) that need people with a college degree[something that's becoming a rarity here].

Most Chinese have no problems here because they are goal-oriented and work hard at their jobs and families. I know many.
There is nothing wrong with your questions or answers-you write very well and are expressive, understandable and articulate. Do not underestimate yourself- you do NOT sound like an idiot.

I wish you luck.

Gun hai fa choy.

There are people who ar narrow minded and unwillingly to know, learn about other cultures and they are everywhere, even in China. So do not throw out the baby together with the bathwater. Enjoy your talk and answers with positive people, that is the best way you can survive graciously, not only in yahoo answers but also in life.

Americans don't like Chinese, but they don't like anyone else either. If you get a sense of humor, people will like your answers/questions.
