ai and melo takes to many shots they have the team to win the title but they are not using it,iverson im sorry but your time is running up

What's the excuse everyone always gave him in Philly? "He doesn't have any support, he has to do it all himself, if he only had a good team..."
I don't buy it - I think he actually hurts the team he's on. He can have all the circus-layups and 50+ scoring nights he wants, but bottom line is he doesn't make the players around him better. It takes 5.
Andre Iguodala is killing it this year, now that Iverson is gone. His numbers are incredible, and his offensive game seems to get better every night. Same with Sam Dalembert - rapidly improving and finally living up to some of his potential.
There's probably other reasons, but by far and away, reason #1 is that with Andre Miller running the show and creating offense for players other than himself, those guys now get a lot of good looks and can get into a rhythm on offense. Not so playing with Iverson.
On top of all that, you're right that he doesn't look like he cares anymore. He's done. Unless he does a Gary Payton and signs a one year deal with a contender at the end of his career, no championships for A.I.

Why does everyone say Allen Iverson takes so many shots? I've been a nuggets fan all my life and I was so excited to see Allen Iverson in a nuggets uniform. I was quite dissappointed since he began his play with melo though, because ever since Melo's return he has been taking 26 shots every game, and Iverson is only taking 17-18. For the volume of Melo's shots, he simply isnt scoring enough, keep in mind he is taking away from Iverson's rythm. I've always loved Melo until A.I. got here, because this is when i realized he was a worthless selfish ballhog. Iverson can score at will when given the opportunity, the nuggets should increase the amount of shots he takes and keep him at pg, even with blake on. Melo should learn to play defense and shoot less or to sit his *** on the bench. An Allen Iverson and Nene combo right now would be ridiculously effective, unfortunately melo is shooting more than both of them combined. It really frustrates me watching Iverson, Blake, Nene, or anyone on fire just to lose their rythm because Melo shoots every time he touches the ball....GOO NUGGETS!!!MELO SUCKS BIG BALLLS!!!

iverson and melo share no good team chemistry
one needs to be a bench-warmer... it's going to be tough but i choose melo because he is bigger in size and can warm up the bench with greater surface area! Iverson would heat the bench twice as long as melo... so iverson is better left on the court.

Because they are both players who want the ball every shot...they cant share.Imagine having Chad Johnson and Terrel Owens on the same team...hells no it wouldnt work.

you can't have 2 all stars on one team because they both want the spotlight and outscore each other look what happened to shaq and kobe but i'm a kobe fan.

because they're not working as a team. they also need more time to get everything straight. next year they'll be a lot better
