checked my car and noticed my timing belt cover was vibrating I put my finger on it and the noise stop and when the car warms up after about 30 minutes the noise stops what could be causing this?

i would have the cover screws tighten but the winding noise may be a loose alternator belt and if not tighten will break.

if you live in a cold climate it could just be a cold start becareful if you have a block heater plug it in cold starts can wear down a engine fast
