ABSOLUTELY!!! Great talent but doesn't play hard and seems to be distracted by all the hype. I watch Jordan play his whole career and he played super hard all the time!!!!

Carmello had no one last season and only made the playoffs because their division sucks (they were 19 games behind 1st place, Sacromento made it to 8th place and they too were 19 games behind) and now he has Iverson, Wade got the Championship WITH SHAQ, and showed he couldn't survive without Shaq before shaq came, who does lebron really have?
Without anyone, Lebron basically single handedly brought the Cavs from a horrible team to a good team, he brought them to 4th place in the confrence (should have been third but New Jersey's division sucks), took them to the second round game 7 against the pistons, the team that people suspected would win, and now is competing for first place with the pistons, all with out ANYONE.
Is he over rated? Yes, depending in your sense. Can he make a game winnin shot, probably not, can he take his team far, absolutley. He is only overrated because people thought he was the next M.J, well he's not, no ones gonna be for a while, if he came into the league and people compared him to wade, and mello, he would not be overrated at all. Heck, even if they were saying he'd make a diffrence, they were right, the only thing there wrong is, is about M.J, and that is why he is over rated. Lebron is an excellent player, and probably the best player since M.J, but he is not at the level of M.J YET. He would have gotten there by now if he played college, but thats my opinion.

I dont think Lebron is overrated at all.He is still the leader for his team and justg because his numbers have took a bit of a dip this year, thats because he is getting his teammates more involved and thats what being a good leader is all about.How can he be overrated and he has consistently averaged 26points 6 assist and 6 rebounds through every year of his NBA career?

Lebron james is WAY overrated. He is good for selling shoes and making commercials but he is not as good as his PROMOTERS make him out to be.

LeBron never went to college, so he didn't learn to compete. Wade went to college and took Marquette to the final four.

yes. Look at the crap team he plays for. He is next to God in cleveland, if he was on any other good team he would be another bench warmer. The moment he gets a bigger salary it is adios to Cleveland and back to a **** team we go.
