To question one - I haven't had anyone say anything to me about my looks to me since I was in Jr High School. If they would I would just like at them like they were insane because that is childish and it be funny for them to actually think I cared what they thought. Question 2 In the last 10 years I've changed just about everything in my life. 20 to 30 is a huge change. I don't think one thing is the same. And to Question 3 I set a role modle to my son by being a single mom, working hard, finishing college, teaching him respect and being an over all good role model because they really do learn from watching their parents.

1 - I find most people are polite enough not to comment on other's looks - at least to their face. If someone says something to me, it depends on how it's said. I had a friend suggest nicely that I might want to get my eyebrows waxed - I thanked her. If it was said in a nasty way, I'd go with what you said - "Yeah, and your point IS???"
2 - Lots of change - I've grown up a lot, become an adult instead of a selfish irresponsible rebellious teenager. Made changes to be a better mom and wife, and that wound up making me happier.
3 - I try to be a good role model to my boys - honest, hard working, caring, giving, etc. I don't do as well as I'd like - I have bad days where I'm lazy or angry or impatient, and my kids see that. But, it also teaches them that we're all human, we all make mistakes, the biggest thing is taking responsibility for our actions. Also teaches them that even MOMS can apologize!!!

1. If it is nice, I say "Thank you." If it is hurtful, I say "Good thing God only judges on the heart condition, not on the outward appearance. Be careful, your cold heart might get you a bad judgment. "
2. Not much change, just up and down with weight, worked several different jobs, and my Husband, and I had one more child.
3. I try to set the best role for my kids, I possibly can. But I'm not perfect. I tell them that I make mistakes, and don't follow those mistakes, but learn from them. I like spending time with my kids, and teaching them different things. Like about God, and real life experiences.

If someone has a problem about the way I look, I'd prefer that they stop looking. As long as I am happy, who cares about anyone else's opinion. Unless they are going to pay for my manicures, hairstylist and clothing who cares about someones opinion. In the past ten years, I have probably changed my hair about once a year. I have always been a conservative dresser. The type of role model I am for my children is that I am patient, forgiving drug free with the exception of a few margarita's to relax every once in a while. I stay involved in their schooling and activities and also never forget to hug and kiss them regularly, even if they have gotten into trouble to let them know that I will always love them.

I don't care what people say about me. I know that I may not look like a supermodel but I love who I am and that makes me myself. My kids are too young for role models but I would hope that I am teaching them to have good role models not like lindsay lohan or brittney spears that have to party all the time to make them feel better about themselves. I hope to raise them to love themselves no matter what other may say or think about them.

First of all I really don't care what people think about the way I look. I change for not going out as much as I use to. I never tried to be a role model for my son, I wanted him to be himself.
