if you are a girl, a teenage chav or a foot baller. Otherwise it just looks eccentric.
to pass of ecentric try mixing with real 1980s shellsuit stuff (not the stuff created in the last few years which wont be as genuine)
or carry a walkman with those big bose earphones.
If you're still not sure what to wear, go to the gym and watch other peoples putfits, this will not only tell you waht "goes" but is likely to give you tips on what sensible- so you dont sweat to death in needless long socks (ankle ones are normally fine)

Not really. I run quite often, and if you would not like to be pointed at while running... I would advise ankle or shorter length socks some shoes that tie. The tying shoes thing is more practical actually so you can run longer and harder.

mate if you think that bad come to australia, they jog in speedos, flip flops (sorry thongs) and thats it! they even go to shops like that.
I would say go jogging in what you mentioned and see the looks you get, then decide..but maybe swap the slip on shoes for sandals, brown ones.

Everything but the slip on shoes.
I'd go with black sandals if I were you.

Well, I think black socks and bermuda shorts would be ideal, but that's just me.
