My period started in November, and I got an awfully large ammount of blood that first month, which I've heard is abnormal. And then in December, I hardly had anything at all, and I'm not even sure whether it would be considered blood. And then in January, I MISSED MY PERIOD COMPLETELY. I'm only 11, I obviously have not had any sexual activity, but for some reason I don't think I'm getting my period anymore. It's already the end of February, so I thinked I missed this month too. My period usually comes around the end of each month, so WHY AM I NOT GETTING IT? Is something wrong with me? Am I supposed to tell someone about this, or is it not a big deal? Is this normal?

it is very common to skip periods especially when starting cycles. don't alarm yourself. technically, you have to wait 3 months before you should worry and go see a physician. let your body adjust to the cycles.

If you're only 11 this is normal. Periods are usually completely random and irregular for a while after you start getting them!

I don't think anything is wrong, especially if you first started your period, it's going to be irregular. However if you are worried tell your mom and you can go to the doctor to get medicine to help regulate your period. =0)

During your first few years it may not be regular. I wouldn't worry about it for now. I would let your mom know what is going on.
