at the bottom of the stack with twenty very short answerers above you?
When I go to award best answer almost always I go to the bottom answers first... do you do this?

No,
a) I type fast
b) I don't really mind if my answer's at the bottom of the stack; I've had those answers win before - and-
c) No, I award the one I like best!

Yeah i try to type super fast now just so i can be the first person but then i have mispelled words and i have to go check those then i look and there is 30 answers in front of me!I usally don't have that many answers to go all the way to the bottom.

Yes, that happens to me as well. I have also spent some time on a long answer (on a question that was asked more than 4 hours before) and the question was resolved while I was typing. My answer never appeared.
I always read all answers to my questions (sometimes more than once)

Yes, I agree with you!! I'm a one finger typer, so if my answer is longer then 3 words, it's way down the list or secornd page. When I award best answer I always read the last few.

Happens all the time to me and it can be frustrating. My two fingers will be typing away,thinking I'm doing all the good. Then I'll submit the answer and it will be so far down the list that I wonder why I even bothered.
But hey! Sometimes good guys finish last.

2nd - well I dont normally get too many answers, no one gets my thinking, but I find the late entries are quite often the better ones anyway, not just answering for 2 points, trying for 10!!!

No but, Ive had some really good answers that by the time I finished them the asker or Yahoo pulled the question.
