D1 basketball is not an easy thing to come by my friend. My advice to you would not be to bank on growing more, but rather refine and perfect those skills that you are best at ie shooting, passing and defense. Larry Bird, I'm sure you've heard of him, came from a similar small town and made quite the name for himself. One thing he did, was every night, he made 100 jump shots before he could stop. He even brobed his Dad to force him to stay at there, by promising straight A's. If height is a problem for you, then work on your passing, man on man defense, and shooting. Focus on the skills that best suit you, work hard, and make sure you have good grades, because alot of D1 schools look to that as well. But most importantly, have a good attitude. That's very important in the college game.

move to a ball playing city. live next to a park where all the ballers go and play them. thats the best way to get better. copy their moves. shooting around on your own wont help when a mans in your face and your playing top speed. chances are youll just have to make a name for yourself since according to you nobody knows you. play travel ball and show people your skillz
