My mom's husband should be getting SSI soon. He's getting Medicaid. Can he put my mom on that (Medicaid) since they are married?? She doesn't have health insurance now.

I don't think you can. You have to meet certain qualtifications to get on Medicaid.

Medicaid is for two different types of people: the low income and the disabled. If your mom is neither, then she won't be eligible. If she is one or the other, I would suggest she apply. SSI automatically gives one SSI but only the person receiving the SSI.

If PA has a program for providing Medicaid to the working poor and she qualifies based on income and other factors, she can be eligible for Medicaid for herself only.

There is no such thing as joint Medicaid - the Feds do not allow it.
