Question about entertaining music?

Lets just say that you were entertaining a sort of classy dinner party. What is the best music that you think i should get? I would like something similar to bossa nova or jazz or international music or something. What would you suggest?

i would definetly use jazz, its not annoying and wont get on peoples nerves as long as you dont blare it.
