act and be preppy? i dont want to seem like a wannabe, but a lot of ppl tell me I look like a nerd, and they tell me I need to change my style.

New hairstyle can help. Contacts if you wear glasses too. I dunno about wanting to look and be preppy though... they are in fact nerds. :)
If you wear button-down shirts leave 'em unbuttoned with a t-shirt under it... don't tuck shirts in.... make sure your pants have some bagginess at the bottom ... that they come all the way over your shoes and you should be golden.
Also, look up american eagle outfitters.. and check out their styles. Don't have to buy from them, but nobody ever said AE were nerdy. :)

Hi, listen sorry if I sound rude but you should never, ever try and be someone your not, dam I'm sure your a good person and you have your own qualities and style so why listen to other people options about you, if you try to be someone that your not let alone act like someone you are not you will never learn to be the person that you truly are.

I would suggest picking a store that projects the fashion image that you like. Stop by and ask one of the sales associates to help you create the look that you are looking for.

It does not matter what other people tell you. just be yourself if they don't like your style then who cares you can wear what ever you want to. Just ignore them.

dont listen to wut other people say. just be yourself and dress how u want to dress. hang out with people who like you for who you are.
